Barneys Goal Line Save

Barney's AWESOME goal line save on the weekend, help 2nd Grade keep their 6 game winning streak in-tact with a 3-2 win over Sydney Uni to finish the season strongly.

Pretty much summed up the stuff that took them from 2nd last to 6th in the final weeks.
Matty Nelson in goals makes the first save and then watches Barney as if to say " Yours!..."

NSW Over 35's team filled with Saints players!

Last weekend NSW played Queensland in a two match series at Sutherland. St George Randwick made up nearly half the squad! We had Matt Tremble, Aaron Lloyd, Til Sorenson, Rob Howard, John Marr and Steve Tuddenham.

Sundays game against Queensland started shakily, conceding 3 goals in 20 minutes, largely due to their skillful CF Grant Smith. NSW clawed back the ascendancy late in the first half and were unlucky to not square the game up by full time. Final score was 4-2.

Monday the boys were keen to avenge the hi-jacking and dominated from the outset. The Sunday game seemed to have ironed out some wrinkles and they got to a two goal lead and never let Queensland back into the game, final result 4-2 after the canetoads scored a late second goal. All the St George Randwick guys played well in two very tough matches.
